Note on how to reset a MicroHAWK camera
- Telnet to the camera on the 49211 port. This is the difficult step as you would need to first get the camera onto
the same subnet as the PC. Eventually you want to get the camera to 192.168.188.2, 255.255.0.0, which is the
default IP and subnet. Maybe do that first.
- At the 49211 port, issue the “jobdelete –all” command. I’ve found when first opening the 49211 port that you
need to hit enter at least once to set the communication buffer into a good state.
- Reboot the camera. You could cycle power or issue the “reboot” command.
At this point, the camera should be just about at the “default” state.
